About BSides Cheltenham

BSides was originally born in 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada when a number of quality speakers were rejected from a mainstream conference, not due to lack of quality but rather lack of space and time. This has grown exponentially and now includes conferences world wide. BSides became global in 2010, holding its first European event. Globally BSides is now made of more than 66 events, in 39 cities, in 10 countries, on 5 continents.

 

This year BSides Cheltenham relaunches under new leadership, bigger and better than ever.

Our mission is to provide Cyber Security and Technology Experts, Hobbyists, and Students with a forum to share and exchange knowledge with the goal of innovation and collaboration.

BSides Cheltenham is run under a Community Interest Company (CIC) and is a not-for-profit company and event. It is run by a handful of volunteers who give up their own time, skills and knowledge for free to put on this event.

Our goal is to create an inclusive environment open to anyone in the InfoSec community. We realize that diversity helps foster collaboration and innovation. We are also dedicated to making BSides Cheltenham a safe as possible for all of our speakers, volunteers, and attendees.  You can find our full code of conduct here.
